Mudbash Open Day is a fun day for people of all ages. As well as viewing the best of Rover Racing there is also a load of other entertainment during the day.
You will be able to marvel at the skill and madness of the infamous Obstacle Course which will challenge both cars and drivers in a true test of skill and endurance. There will also be several other tracks running throughout the day and the opportunity for those aged 12 and over to passenger in a real Mudbash Buggy on one of the main arena tracks.
It’s not only racing at Mudbash on Open Day however. Activities in 2013 will include abseiling, archery and a bouldering wall, nearest to the pin golf challenge, scavenger hunt, box car races and donut eating competitions. Other activities include face painting, colouring competitions, damper making, canoing, a jumping castle, giant board games and more. These activities are just a snipit of the fun and adventures members of the Scouting movement get up to.
Food & Drinks
As always the Mafeking Canteen will be stocking a range of delicious food and drinks to keep you going through the day. We will also have a professional barista selling delicious coffee and hot chocolates all day long.
Camping for the General Public
Members of the general public, and scouting members who are no longer Rovers, are able to camp at Mudbash, providing that they meet the following requirements:
- Aged over 18
- Are attending with a Rover Crew, who will take responsibility for their guests.
Members of the general public are not allowed to drive or be a passenger in a competitive car, but will be able to take part in Hot Laps on Saturday.
